- Originally, I did just the one blog. Now I have 3. The most important thing in my life is my family. But I do have some hobbies that I do fill my time with. I love poker...playing poker, reading about poker and watching poker on TV. But there is also photography. I need to find more opportunities to mix the two! As you will find, I'm also very opinionated...I'm a libertarian (by definition, not affiliated with the Party...they are a bit cooky!)

Quads twice with action -- it doesn't get much better than that!
This morning it was 19F here (and dropping down to 15 they say), brr. I know it's colder where you are, so how bad is it?
They say our cold weather comes in from Canada -- we need to start getting it from Florida, instead.

Mondo: there really is nothing like knowing your opponent is drawing dead...at the turn and betting into you.
Memphis: it was the same hand- I get quads only annually. It was -24 this morning on the bus stop. 19 will fell balmy.
jamyhawk: it's probably from betting into people with any pocket pair. They are trump you know.
OES: WOW! I didn't catch that tweet notification. It's the notification from Tweetdeck, the Twitter client I use periodically. Not sure I prefer it over Twhirl.

Nothing like this wonderful midwest weather. Last night was the coldest I ever remember.
Could it be ... gasp ... global warming?
Lightning: I love hands like these cause the only way anyone could lose them is misclick the fold button. That would get my laptop thrown into the wall.
I grew up here in MN. I remember colder. I don't miss it, but I do remember a few times we got into the -30's and -40's.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I miss global warming.
