Everyone is invited - Time to spread the word and give back

It's all coming together. This idea that at the ripe old age of 40, I find the need to do some good in the world. I first want to make sure that everyone knows how much I've appreciated all the help I've had thus far. AlCantHang did a fantastic job inserting the tournament in the place of the Mookie for one week. Thank you sir. Thanks to Buddy and Jo for allowing me to interrupt the regularly scheduled Mookie. And finally, the lovely Katitude has created this amazing banner for us. And thank you to everyone that's encourage me to get things this far.

So, here's the banner. I'm asking each and every one of you to please post this on your blog and share with all of your readers. This is for such a great cause, the Ronald McDonald House. Their mission: ...provides a "home away from home" and offers support to families seeking medical care for their children. This kind of help is just the support that so many families need to get their kids back to health.

Cut & Paste this if you'd like -

Thank you very much in advance to everyone that joins with me and spreads the word. And an even bigger thank you for registering for this tournament on Full Tilt Poker. Even if you are unable to play, $5 of your buy-in goes to the Ronald McDonald House. So, yeah, it's OK to be dead money. No one will complain :)

So one last time, here's the details:
Date: June 16
Time: 9PM CDT (Same time as Mookie)
It will actually be running in place of the Mookie. BDR will be broadcasting it.
Charity: Ronald McDonald House
$5 + $5(Tournament, charity)
Password= vegas1
Tournament#= 164273435

I hope to see everyone there! And thank you for any and all help you can provide.

Just reposted an edited version on my site. Hope to be there. Will register as soon as my deposit is made.

Done tho I had to put it at the top of the page. Tried fitting it into the sidebar but the proportions aren't right and you can't get a good read on the info but I think it will work out where it is.

Thank you everyone!

So off topic, but are you going to go to any of the Rox/Twins games this week? Ubaldo pitching on Thursday.....

I will not be going to any games this week :(

Tickets are really hard to get. I've only got tickets to one more game this year. I hope to see my guys pick it up. It was a little disappointing against the Braves.

You coming up here for any?

Unfortunately, I won't be out Minnesota-way. I say that as if I've ever been, which I haven't. I sure would love to someday.

I am excited to have tix to all games of the Rox/Red Sox series next week, but really, the Twins are my 2nd favorite MLB team (though there's a Grand Canyon gulf between them and the Rox, to be honest).

I see the teams as parallels to one another, in so many ways, player development philosophies, class acts, etc.

Now, if we *do* meet in the World Series, I may have to rethink my travel plans ;-)

BTW, finally reg'd for tomorrow, not sure I can play it yet, but hope to. It's a cool thing you've done
